Here is a breakdown of the standard components you will find on this type of electrical panel:

1. Temperature Control Section (Heater System)

Since paper plates require heat to mold properly, managing the temperature is crucial.

• Digital Temperature Controllers (Tensors / DTC): You will usually see 2 or 4 digital meters here. A double die machine has an upper and lower heater for each die side. These let you set and read the exact temperature (usually set between 120C to 180C depending on paper thickness/GSM).

• Heater On/Off Switches: Individual toggle switches or rotary switches to turn the heaters for Die 1 and Die 2 on or off independently.

• Heater Indicators: Small red or yellow LED lights that glow when electricity is actively flowing to the heaters.

2. Motor & Cycle Controls

This section manages the hydraulic pump motor and how the machine cycles.

• Main Motor On/Off Switches: Push buttons (Green for START, Red for STOP) to turn on the main hydraulic pump or mechanical motor.

• Digital Timer / Stroke Timer: Controls how many seconds the die stays pressed down on the paper (called the "dwell time") before rising back up. You can adjust this (typically 1 to 5 seconds) based on how deep the plate shape needs to be.

• Mode Selection Switch (Manual / Semi-Auto):

  • Manual Mode: Moves the dies up or down only when you press a green button or foot switch.

  • Semi-Auto Mode: Once triggered, the machine completes one full stroke (Down Press for $X$ seconds Up) and stops.

3. Monitoring & Safety Components

• Digital Voltmeter: Displays the incoming voltage (typically needs to read around 220V for single-phase or 415V for three-phase systems). If the voltage is too low, the heaters won't warm up fast enough.

• Digital Ammeter: Displays the current load (Amps) being pulled by the motor and heaters. Sudden spikes indicate a mechanical jam or short circuit.

• Emergency Stop Button: A large red, mushroom-shaped button. Hitting this immediately cuts power to the motor and stops all die movement instantly in case of an accident.

Quick Operating Tip: Always turn on the heaters 1015 minutes before starting the motor. Let the digital temperature controllers reach your set target temperature first, otherwise the paper will tear instead of molding cleanly.
